Ushuaia Port and Other Sites
Referred to also as the “End of the World”, this port is not only for transportation of goods by ships and vessels, but also for cruises to the Falkland islands and Antarctica, as well as a major port of call for all cruises in South America.
You can also go on the Patagonia Adventure Explorer, an exclusive and customised sailing tour services on the Beagle Channel that will take you close to the nearby islands where you can see where colonies of sea lions and cormorants live. Then there is the Southern Fuegian Railway, which used to be a freight line service serving the prisons of Ushuaia. Today it is used as a heritage railway that can take you into the 630 km2 area of the stunning Tierra del Fuego National Park.
