Buenos Aires Popular Barrios/Areas

Among other barrios worth visiting when you are in Buenos Aires would be Palermo Soho. It is located on the northeast and is a chic and bohemian area home to trendy hotels, shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend to stay in this area. Belgrano is a leafy barrio and historic area home to many of the city’s landmarks and is also where you can find Chinatown. San Telmo is the city’s oldest barrio with its well-preserved colonial buildings, filled with bustling cafes, tango parlours and antique shops on cobblestone pedestrian streets. You can visit Feria de San Telmo- an antique fair composed of 270 stands located in Plaza Dorrego that opens every Sunday. It is a fun and exciting place to visit.
