Library of Congress

The Thomas Jefferson Building is one of the three US Library of Congress and the oldest. It was completed in 1897 and is located between Independence Avenue and East Capitol Street. The building has a Beaux-Arts style architecture and is known for its classicizing façade and luxurious decorated interior.
