John F. Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts

Dedicated to the 35th president of the US who was assassinated, this is the centre for the performing arts and is strategically located on the Potomac River. Officiated in September 1971, the centre produces and presents among others: music, theatre, dance, ballet. orchestral, and jazz. It is the busiest performing arts facility in the country.
