Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus
This is truly the heart and centre of London. In the past, Piccadilly Circus was also referred to as Piccadilly Circle. Built in 1819, it is a road junction and public space of the city’s West End, connecting Regent Street with Piccadilly.
It also links the theatres on Shaftesbury Avenue, Haymarket, Coventry Street and all the way to Leicester Square. This is one of the busiest areas in London.
