Casa Rosada

Situated on the eastern side of Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada is the Argentinian President’s executive mansion and office. It is also referred to as Casa de Gobierno, or House of Government. Completed in 1886 with Italianate-Eclectic style architecture, this building is considered one of the country’s most emblematic buildings. Casa Rosada also houses a museum which was established in 1957, displaying presidential memorabilia and selected belongings of previous Argentinian presidents
