Sydney Opera House
Considered as one of 20th century’s most well-known buildings, the Sydney Opera house was built in 1958 and opened in in 1973 and serves as a multi-venue performing arts centre in the city. This expressionist-style building stands proud on the entire Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour, between Sydney Cove and Farm Cove. It is one of the busiest performing arts centre which hosts about 1,500 events annually and attended by over 1.2 million people. The Sydney Opera House was classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2007.
