Sodermalm
Sodermalm is a district and island in central Stockholm that is home to several beautiful 18th century buildings. It connects to other islands such as Gamla Stan by bridges. Once a working-class district, this has now transformed into a fun, bohemian and alternative cultural area for all. Among the main sites on this island include: St Eric’s Cathedral, Hogalid Church, Katarina Church and Stockholm Mosque. Also, the famous early 20th century actress Greta Garbo grew up in this area.
