Museu Do Chiado

Established in 1911 and re-inaugurated in 1994, this museum located in the elegant Chiado neighbourhood covers Portuguese and a few foreign artworks between the years 1850 and 1950. This museum holds the best collection of Portuguese painting and sculpture from the Romanticism, to Naturalism, and to the Modern eras, including: Antonio Silva Porto, Miguel Angelo Lupi, etc.
