Cambridge
Separated by the famous Charles River is the city of Cambridge. Founded in 1630, it is well-known for its two highest ranking universities in the world: Harvard University, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (“MIT”). Ethnically rich and diversified communities make up Cambridge’s well-known squares: Harvard, Charles, Porter, Kendall and Central, with restaurants, coffee shops, shopping centres, and bookstores. Harvard Square is the most well-known one, lively until well after midnight, visited by more than 28,000 students from over 100 countries. More than 500 shops occupy Harvard Square, along with the many street performers.
