Buenos Aires (Minimum Three Days Stay)

Buenos Aires is in the northern part of the country, on western coast of Rio de la Plata. It is the largest and most populous city in Argentina and fourth in America, with a population in the metro area of 13 million people scattered on an area of 4,758 km2. Buenos Aires is an autonomous district and was federalised in 1880. It is a multicultural city and home to a variety of ethnic and religious groups, resulting from mass immigration in the last 150 years.

It is considered one of the most diverse cities in Latin America. Among the 48 areas or “barrios” in the city are: La Boca, Palermo Soho, Palermo Hollywood, Belgrano, Montserrat, Recoleta, Retiro, Constitucion, San Telmo, San Nicholas, Barracas and Puerta Madero.
