San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (“SFMOMA")
SFMOMA was founded in 1935 and holds an internationally recognized collection of modern and contemporary art, featuring over 33,000 works of painting, sculpture, architecture, photography, media, and design arts. Displayed in 170,000 square feet, or 16,000m2 of exhibition space, it is one of the largest museum in the country. You can find the works of American famous artists such as Andy Wharhol and Mark Rothko, as well very well-known European artists such as Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso.
